Noon Year's Eve
Regina, December

Our final event of 2019 came on the last day of the year, taking part in the Saskatchewan Science Center's annual New Year's family event.  Our display, one of many spread through the center, showcased a number of moving amusement park attractions, as well as a GBC, Fallout shelter build and a few other oddities.  What a way to ring in the new year!

Brickery
Estevan, November

Once again, SLUG took over the Senior Center in Estevan with dozens of creations!  A number of themes were well represented: Town, Space, Pop Culture, Medieval and more!

Brickery is also a host of a Kids Building Contest, with a number of entries showcasing scenes from Movies or TV shows!


Entertainment Expo
Saskatoon, September

With a huge display in the main vendor hall of the show, SLUG returned to the Expo!  A number of pop-culture builds were on display for the weekend for visitors of the show to enjoy.  Our group provided pools full of bricks for kids of all ages to build with, becoming quite a draw over the two days.

Queen City AniFest
Regina, August

This annual Anime / Pop Culture show saw a number of nerdy SLUG creations!  Builds from Akira to the X-Men were represented at this one-day show.

BRICKSPO
Moose Jaw, July

Our eighth year of this annual MOC showcase saw 45 participants from our four western provinces!  Hundreds of creations were shown to our 3000+ visitors over the two days of the show!

Regina Railfest
Regina, May

We had a large presence at the train show this year, which was held in a new location.  Our layout contained four stand-alone 'island' layouts featuring City scenes, Star Wars battles, and movie studio tours.  Many other creations were displayed, including a playable pirate game!

Train and Hobby Show
Prince Albert, April

SLUG made it's presence known at the Hobby Show yet again this year with a small but mighty display of space, Pop Culture and fantasy themed builds!

Majestics Car Show
Moose Jaw, April

SLUG returned to the car show this year with a display chalk-full of wheeled creations!  The visiting public, who expected to see hot rods and classic vehicles, seemed pleased with our builds and were happy to see us there.

Thunder Creek Model Train Show
Moose Jaw, March

Visiting the city of Moose Jaw yet again, this years show gave us the opportunity to display many original pieces, along with moving displays of 'Brick Studios' and 'The Battle of Hoth'.  It also became a testing ground for a game, slowly being developed by a pair of members.


Prairie Model Workshop Train Show
Saskatoon, February

This year marked the 9th showing by our group, and we came loaded with displays!  Collaborations were present by many builders, as were a number of stand-alone creations!
