SLUG

2021
White City Showcase

White City, December

For the time in TWO YEARS we were able to get together to display our work for a weekend show.  This, our first in White City, was organized by builder, and featured some young-builder workshops.  We used the opportunity to hold our Holiday Meeting which allowed us to exchange MOCs, complete a mega-draft and get back to some of our general silliness.

Regina Airport Display

Regina, December - February

We are honoured to be given the opportunity to display at the Regina International Airport during the busy months for December and January.  Our display features a collaborative Winter Street as well as some notable MOCs from members of the group.  If you're flying through the Queen City this holiday season, it's worth checking out!

Towers of Tomorrow -
Saskatchewan Skyline

Regina, July

For our second month displaying alongside the Towers of Tomorrow exhibit at the Saskatchewan Science Centre we decided to showcase some of the Architecture within our own province.  These builds all happen to be different locations within the City of Regina, including the City Hall area, notable downtown buildings and the Provincial Legislature.

BRICKSPO X Display

Moose Jaw, July - August

With restrictions still affecting our summer, a physical BRICKSPO was (again) not going to be a possibility.  However the WDM had a display case that was itching to be filled with GREAT creations!  Thus, for the summer months, SLUG was invited to showcase some of the builds that would have made it to BRICKSPO this year.  From Castle to Sci-fi, Micropolis to Apocalypse, our builds will be seen by visitors to the museum until the fall!  Hooray!

Towers of Tomorrow -
Mircopolis

Regina, June

We were welcomed to showcase our builds at the Saskatchewan Science Centre during their run of the Towers of Tomorrow exhibit.  For our first display, we brought a mulit-builder, multi-module Micropolis (based on the Twinlug standard).
