Happy New Year!  We here at SLUG are looking forward to the various events and programs that we're going to be taking part in.  It's going to be a busy year for us, and we hope that you'll be able to take part!

First off, we'll be beginning our partnership with the Regina Public Library with a series of workshops.  These three workshops are meant to assist and enhance the building of those interested in Lego.  All workshops are being held at the Connaught Library from 1pm - 2pm, and 3pm - 4pm.  The first of these is scheduled for this weekend!  We will be discussing alternate building techniques and ways of thinking about the bricks in terms of scale and what they can accomplish.  We ask that all participants bring their own bricks to use.

There will be a February workshops dealing with Lego Technic building.  This will focus on the use of gears and motors to bring your creations to life!

In March, our final workshop will focus on the creation and customization of the Lego minifig!  Discover and think about ways to create characters not made by the company with various Lego and non-Lego elements!

If interested in any of these workshops, please register through the Regina Public Library and visit our RPL Workshops page!
