Best. Show. Ever.
Without a doubt, this past show was our best to date! Not only did we have more of our own members in attendance (8), but we were all able to hang around our largest layout to date!
The over 200 square feet came together nicely when set-up, with only one small hiccup. Each table blended well into the next, yet showed off the diverse building talents of ever memeber of our group. We recieved many comments about the build from other attendees and the public. Overall, it was a great experience and a perfect excuse to hang out and talk shop all day!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our display and asked questions! We hope to see you all at the show next year, if not sooner at an upcoming show!

This weekend is the
Regina Modelers Train Show. This will be
SLUG's fourth (official) time at the show...
AND IT'S OUR BIGGEST DISPLAY EVER!!!
This year, we have
7 builders adding to our display which covers over 200 square feet of space! Mainly based on the
CITY theme, there will be lots of hidden jems to search out!
So come on out to
Cochrane High School (in Regina) this weekend to catch our display! Doors open around 10am on both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is only $5. Hope to see yo...

We have been officially invited to attend the Regina Model Train Show once again this year!
As a group, we have been planning for this show for months and are very much looking forward to it. Our layout for this years show is going the be the largest to date! It will cover a 12'x18' area and be created by six different talented builders! There are going to be lots of different things to check out on the layout as well as a display table for creations that don't quite fit into the larger mod...

The Regina Model Train Show is coming up soon and we are inviting all members to participate in a building challenge! This will be our second such challenge at a train show. This show's challenge involves the newly released Series 5 Collectable Minifigs! The task is to create a vignette to showcase one of the 16 Series 5 minifigs.
Here are the rules:
1. Your vignette must have a 16x16 base. You can use a baseplate, plates or bricks, but the base itself cannot exceed 16x16.
