Since the cancellation of the Regina Model Train Show this fall, it has been a bit of a continuing 'slow news day' for us as a group.  However, we are looking forward to a number of things we have planned in the next few months!  Here is a quick run-down of some of our upcoming events and programs for the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013!

Our next meeting!  This will be taking place mid-December in Meacham this year!  Our bi-monthly meetings are a chance to catch-up with one another, talk about new sets and recent Lego news, as well as open the door to possible new members!

RPL Workshops!  We have been contacted by the Regina Public Library system to conduct a number of workshops aimed at ages child through adult. We will be hosting these sessions, once a month, through January, February and March at the Connaught Branch. Visit our RPL Workshops page for more information!

Saskatoon Train Show!  This February we will be taking part in the Prairie Rail Workshop show at the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon.  We hope to expand upon last year's display, making it bigger and better!

Moose Jaw Train Show!  One month after the Saskatoon train show, we will be at the Thunder Creek Model Train Show.  This event is held every year at the Western Development Museum in Moose Jaw and this will mark our fourth appearance at the show.

That takes care of what is up with us during these cold winter months!  Check back from time-to-time for updates to these and other SLUG happenings!

Keep building!
